Trek To Learn provides service learning and educational travel programs for middle and high school students in the United States.
Many of our past expeditions have focused on bringing technology into developing countries through service learning projects. In 2003 a group of our students brought and installed a full computer lab to The Arusha Secondary School in Africa. Our students spent a full week teaching the Tanzanian students how to use their new technology, and establishing incredible friendships. In 2010 we took the group to Tanzania. These six students spent a week working with the Jane Goodall Foundation on service learning projects to improve the lives of the members of the town of Moshi, right at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Check out the video link below to see some of the trip.
Trek To Learn will be traveling to Costa Rica in June of 2012.
